Macdunn Controls – Partnership
Macdunn Controls is a Prince George based firm that partners with Cougar Pacific for projects in Northern B.C. Macdunn has been in business since 1984 and has employees experienced in electric, electronic, pneumatic and DDC controls, as well as air conditioning and gas fired equipment. Generally Macdunn provides the installation of the controls as well as commissioning assistance. Engineering and program creation is provided by Cougar Pacific. Cougar Pacific has partnered with Macdunn Controls in this manner for over 15 years and have completed nearly 100 installations including office buildings, recreation centres, health clinics, and other commercial buildings.

Cougar Pacific Systems has provided our customers with Building Automation products as designed and manufactured by Alerton for over 15 years. Alerton has constantly strived to remain leading edge by designing products that provide open integration, user friendliness, robustness while maintaining their competitive standing in the industry. Alerton was one of the very first manufacturers to release BACnet products. Cougar Pacific strives to truly utilize this open protocol and has successfully, via BACnet, integrated to lighting control, gas detection systems, variable frequency drives, as well as other Building Automation Systems.
